I still remember the morning it hit me.
I was standing in front of the mirror, noticing the fine lines that seemed deeper than they were a month ago. My hair looked thinner, my skin dull, and the morning stiffness in my knees made even simple stretches uncomfortable.
I told myself it was just aging. After all, I was past 40 — wasn’t this just part of life?
